Not being a fan of strong, overly floral or spicy perfumes, I came across Officina delle Essenze while looking for a fresh, clean scent—something that could wrap around me, refresh me, and soften me without being overwhelming. I decided to try the entire “Puri” line in the 10 ml format and completely fell in love with Puro Fico. It’s fresh and sweet, exactly what I was looking for—absolutely wonderful. And it’s also the one that lasts the longest on my skin, even though it doesn’t go beyond a few hours. I will definitely purchase the full size. The packaging is also worth mentioning: a postcard from Rome, telling the story of the brand, infused with a home fragrance (in my case, coincidentally, it was the fig one), and two complimentary samples. In short, a truly deserving Italian brand.

It really seems like a great perfume, with woody notes and fig leaf scent. It reminds me a lot of a more “well-known” fig perfume I haven’t used in years. Perfect for this season, it’s almost like holding a leaf and seeing the sap of the wood dripping… not at all cloying or sweet—just perfect! The packaging is beautiful, and the samples were much appreciated!

Good, but personally, to my nose, I notice a lot of the salty marine note and the sweetness from the coconut. I was imagining a drier and more isolated fig. The fig is very much in the background, and the fragrance evokes more the atmosphere of the fig tree and its fruit surrounded by other scents.

I didn’t know Officina delle Essenze and I bought Puro Fico a bit blindly, trusting the reviews I read. I had been searching for a fig perfume for a long time, but none of them were to my liking. And so I finally found the fig fragrance I had been looking for—green and at the same time sweet, fresh, and enveloping, with elegant notes of sea and almond. A Mediterranean fragrance that doesn’t get tiring, on the contrary… it becomes intoxicating!

Those childhood summers in the countryside, under the shade of a vibrant green fig tree. With a dog and a cat by my side, where, looking in the distance, you can see the thick green treetops and the golden spikes in the fields dancing, and that little breeze that from time to time brings that sweet, light, warm taste of the fig, constantly accompanied by the fresh leaf.

I bought this perfume as I was looking for an alternative to Diptyque and I am so glad I did, I like Puro Fico one even more and it lasts longer on me. Delicious, summery and intense but not too sweet or overwhelming, just the perfect fig scent, it smells very natural. I bought a 10 ml spray to test and will for sure buy the full size bottle. Very happy with this perfume, and I must say the whole purchase process with Officina delle Essenze was impeccable. My only regret was not buying the sample set, I want to try more!

Spraying this fragrance, I expected something cloying and a bit nauseating, but instead, it’s a spectacular scent. I’ve never smelled such a good fig. It’s not the typical sweet fig, but a drier fig, the classic fig leaf and not the ripe fruit. So, besides being persistent, it’s a freshness like no other. If you like fig, you can’t not like this fragrance because it’s the best!

I knew buying a perfume without smelling it was risky, but for months I had been looking for a fig fragrance without success, so I decided to take the risk. Unfortunately, I don’t like it. It’s too sweet, too strong… I was looking for the fresh scent of fig leaves, but this doesn’t resemble that at all. I tried spraying a little on my wrists, but after 10 minutes, I had to go wash it off. I must admit, I’m very sensitive to smells, entering a perfume store where there’s always a strong mix of fragrances gives me a headache, and there’s nothing more personal than perfumes, so I can’t say this is a bad fragrance, it’s just not for me. Such a shame!

Puro Fico has been with me daily for a few months. As always, when it comes to fragrances, it takes me a while to understand why I like or dislike something. This, of course, I like a lot, and the reason isn’t so much in the structure of the perfume itself, although it’s almost perfect, but in the images it evokes. Puro Fico takes me to an olive grove in Puglia, when I was a child, and the scent of ripe figs mixed with the dry grass and olive wood. I don’t think I need to say more!

I have tested and wore innumerable perfumes with Fig. Yours is by far the best. Sweet, intense and subtle at the same time, really evocating the odour of the plant, leaving a wonderful aura all around me. Another plus it does not smell artificial at all, such a natural smell blending on my skin. It is not a linear smell though. I can smell the almonds and the coconut, a hint of galbanum maybe as well as the sea breeze. It reminded me of my summer vacation on a Greek island full of fig trees. The sillage and longevity are excellent as well. The quality of your products is not to be questioned but what I enjoyed as well is the whole purchasing procedure. This is the quickest time that I have received an on-line purchase, with immediate feedback. The samples you sent me are definitely a bonus.

When I tried Puro Fico I was surprised at the complexity and, at the same time, simplicity of this fragrance! It seems to smell just like a fig, but whenever I close my eyes, my fancy carries me away to the southern coast! I can feel only freshness and joy of the fig with subtle creamy nuance of an almond and a coconut here. There is the calm sea and the shining sun nearby! Stunning steadiness combines with a pleasant trail! This scent is very attractive and sensual, as everything made by this author.
